What Is Slatwall

Slatwall is a a building material commonly used in the retail and visual merchandising industries.

It's basic form is a panel most commonly made of MDFMedium Density Fiberboard with horizontal grooves to accept a variety of merchandising accessories such as slatwall shelves, hooks, baskets, etc.. The standard size is 4' x 8' with the grooves spaced 3" OCon center.

Slatwall has become a definitive standard for merchandisers and store planners worldwide due to the versatility of the product, the additional types of displays that can also be made from the material and the number of accessories available.
